To further immerse himself into the music industry and develop his craft, Niko has been a DJ instructor at Indianapolis’ premier DJ school, Deckademics, for the past 6 years. Niko’s passion for all types of music and his desire for those he’s playing for to have a good time has led him to be especially skilled at developing events into high-paced experiences by incorporating turntablism, live drumming, and live music remixing. He has supported numerous internationally-acclaimed acts including Post Malone, RL Grime, Fetty Wap, DJ Craze & Four Color Zack (2 Cents), & many more. With 7 years of experience, Niko has been DJing clubs, weddings, formal & informal events, collegiate events and dances, school-sponsored events, and festivals since he was 17. He’s a recurring talent performer at Fifth Third Bank’s exclusive annual fundraising event, Rev Indy, which is hosted at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and supports the Indiana University Health Foundation’s trauma and critical care programs.
Niko spent 4 years of his DJ career as one of the Indiana Pacers’ DJs for home games.
In 2018, Niko competed and won Campus DJ’s competition, naming him as the top collegiate DJ in the US. Recently, Niko has played at the NCAA’s Division I College Football Playoff National Championship for 2020.
